The mission of TEDx University of ¸£ÀûÉ© is to strengthen the academic culture of our campus, inspire our student body to think more critically about the world, and expand interdepartmental collaboration.

What is TEDx University of ¸£ÀûÉ©?

Sponsored by the Fund for Experience One, our conference provides a multidisciplinary forum for academic minds to gather and exchange ideas worth sharing. Speakers selected to present at TEDx University of ¸£ÀûÉ© are directly connected to the local community or have topics that support ¸£Àûɩ’s mission and values. TEDx University of ¸£ÀûÉ© showcases the diversity and academic fortitude of our institution while providing a venue for speakers to submit their research to a global network.

What is TEDx?

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDx University of ¸£ÀûÉ©, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDx University of ¸£ÀûÉ© event, TED Talks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.

This independent TEDx event is operated under license from TED.
